My girlfriend and i went by today to check out the new crosstreks. We had no intentions of purchasing. We really dont have all that much money as were waiting on a settlement. Anyways long story short. We were greeted by Zhang and this guy was soo friendly and helpful the whole way through. My girlfriend and i dont have the greatest credit and the sales manager pulled his weight for us to get approved. Were in the high 500's in credit.. we walked in met friendly people, got an awesome car with just her signature. These people are totally awesome and will do their best to get you in a car. I will totally recommend these guys to anyone.
Three stars is only because I had a really great experience when purchasing my vehicle here. The finance guy, the sales rep and his manager were all very friendly and very helpful. Even the girl at the service department was friendly when I had one feature installed right after the purchase. However, I have not had the best experience when it comes to their customer service in parts and in service. The first gentleman at parts had no idea about a part I was asking about. In my opinion, this was a fairly simple part to know about replacing. He stated the part was not a Subaru part and I had to call a specific number because the part was customized. I asked him for a number to call that would know about this part and he said I would have to look for it. I got frustrated with him trying to sound like he knew what he was talking about, but I knew he was BSing his way through it. Instead of giving me to someone who knew more, he just kept at it. The part IS an original Subaru part and they lost a sale because I bought it through another dealer instead. Second ill experience was with their customer service in their Service Dept. I was trying to schedule an oil change and the girl sounded like I was inconveniencing her. She made me sound like I was asking for something that was beyond her and to answer my questions was funny. After I have my oil change there, I am going to find another dealership or take my business elsewhere. They might have some great people when buying, but if this is the way customer service is after I buy, I won't be buying another Subaru and I will be trading this one in as soon as I can.
I had my very first Subaru dealer experience. Edwin was very nice, effective, never pushy but professional. After test drive, I wasn't sure anymore if I wanted the car. He was understandable, fetched me a wonderful brochure to keep thinking about it with my family. He sent a follow-up email right after i left. When there are too many weird and rude dealers, this place seemed hustle free and actually nice.
Just purchased my very first Subaru and the attention I got from my sales person Cheryl Sauer was superb. Not only did she continuously check in with me while I waited for my vehicle to be built, she was super friendly and knowledgeable, making this entire process super easy! Thanks for your help and care! Highly recommend this lady next time you are in the market for a new or used vehicle!!!
I read somewhere to go back to the dealership that gives you the best offer and the best service. I definitely got both of those things at Subaru of Ontario. Hands down, the best offer and service. After a bad car wreck, I was in need of a new car. I really wanted a Subaru because of its good safety ratings and stellar reputation. I did my homework and shopped around. Unfortunately, most of the dealerships I visited did not have the same stellar reputation as Subaru itself. I was really disappointed at the lack of professionalism I was confronted with at most of the dealerships I visited. I was financing through my credit union, so most of the dealerships I visited were not very willing to work with me on a fair price. They also tried to trick me into running my credit so they could try to convince me to finance through them instead of my CU. My intelligence was insulted a lot . It was frustrating. However, this was not the case at Subaru of Ontario. My car's salesman, Jeremy Fan, listened to my needs and didn't try any gimmicks. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want, and he didn't try to run my credit unnecessarily like all the other Subaru dealerships tried to do. He worked respectfully with me to get me a fair price; even though, I was basically a cash customer. I met with him three times before deciding to go ahead with the purchase. He did not disappoint me once in those meetings. He was easy to work with, professional, and he really earned my business. Financing was seamless as well. When I was ready to purchase the car, I was in and out in less than an hour. Again, we weren't pressured into purchasing anything additional. I will certainly be recommending Subaru of Ontario and Jeremy to any prospective Subaru shoppers. Thanks again Jeremy and Subaru of Ontario for making my first new car buying experience a good one. I LOVE my new Subie.
I recently purchased a car from Subaru of Ontario. Cheryl definitely helped make the process easy, and walked me through everything. I would highly recommend asking for her if you plan on purchasing a car. There was some confusion over the financing of the car due to banks being closed for Veterans day and the following weekend. Javier, the finance director, was incredibly kind and really helped me walk through the process step by step in confirming the loan was approved. He extended a great deal of patience and grace when I came in upset and confused about the delay in financing. He resolved all of my concerns and diffused the situation. The dealership has also been very prompt in getting my due bill taken care of.
