I bought my 2013 Impreza from Subaru of Ontario. I live in the SF Bay Area, but the prices here are ridiculously high. Take the MSRP and tack on $500-$1000 for a starting price. I was visiting in Southern California for the 2012 Christmas Holidays and decided to check prices in the area. They were better. I used a website called "TrueCar" and two dealerships were significantly lower than any other. Email to Subaru of Ontario came back from Cheryl. The car I wanted was not available, but there was a Subaru shipment coming in the next few days and the car I wanted was scheduled for delivery at another dealership. Cheryl got me the car and at a price that was better than I could have hoped. Another dealer tried to sell me the same car and couldn't beat Cheryl's price. You want a great price on a Subaru in California? Work it out with Cheryl and fly to Ontario to get it. You'll come out ahead.
I purchased a 2013 Outback from Subaru of Ontario. I started by emailing an offer on a particular car. I was greeted with an email from Cheryl. She sent the price that they would take, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was extremely competitive, and there was absolutely no hagggling or any back and forth nonsense. I ran her price by a friend who works in the industry, and he thought it was too good to be true. Most importantly, Cheryl was very nice with a zero pressure/salesperson technique, which I loved. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. After having a struggle trying to get back out to Ontario to get the car, she volunteered to deliver the car to me 55 miles away. Call her directly if you are looking to purchase a vehicle from Subaru of Ontario. Her price will be the best, and she will treat you well.
Sales staff here are really cool. NO pressure or any thing. showed me a few cars and they did very well. They let me test drive cars with out telling me "are you going to buy this?" Most places are jerks and I stay clear of them. I can say that this place rocks and so does the staff. I cant waitt o buy my next car here. Thanks guys!
I bought my Subaru Outback here. Their sales people are nice and pretty friendly. It is very easy to get a deal with them through the internet and emails before you step one foot on their lot. That was the route that I went before going there to test drive the car. I've been taking the car here for service. Just like all dealerships, their prices are high and they always try to recommend way more service than your car actually needs. In fact, they call driving in CA extreme driving. You've got to be very gullible to eat that kind of bullcrap. I always insist that they perform only the recommended services for normal driving. But since my car is getting older, I will be taking it to an independent Subaru shop. Bottom line: Buy your car here, but take it elsewhere for service.
We bought our 2010 Subaru Forester from this dealership May 2010. The experience was satisfactory. Recently, the battery in our Forester leaked and caused damage to the interior/wall of the engine bay. The service manager Carl had the battery replaced under warranty and arranged for the damage to be fixed under warranty. I commend Carl and service advisor Ruby for the excellent way they handled the warranty repair/claim. This service dept. was very helpful and very professional. They will go out of their way to help a customer. Thank you Ruby and Carl.
I've been a Subaru owner for 20+ years; I love my Subaru and wouldn't have any other make of car. I took my 2007 Outback to Ontario Subaru to have some work done and I couldn't be happier! There are other Subaru dealers closer to my area, but I will drive past them to deal with Ontario Subaru. Their service department is great; the manager was knowledgeable and very helpful. I haven't actually bought a car from them yet (Subarus last forever) but the next time I need a car, I will be buying from Ontario Subaru.
